Get the flower girl look!

Hello everyone! It is Magazine Monday and today I am helping you get the popular flower girl look! This look is very cute, flirty, and relaxed. A lot of girls today, including celebrities, are recreating this look.

Flower Crown: You can pick up a cheap flower crown anywhere at the mall or you can simply make your own. If you would like a DIY on how to make a flower crown, please let me know in the comments down below. If you just want to purchase a crown, search very closely in each store at the mall. Popular stores like Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, H&M, Windsor, etc, may have a crown. I have yet to find one. Creating a crown may be an easier solution.

Dress Code: Flower Girls typically stick to pastels and whites. But if you do not feel like sticking to the trend, go bold and add a neon pop of color. Flower Crowns can be worn with any clothing but it may or may not look like the whole idea if you don't stick with pastel colors. As for types of clothing, flower girls wear longer dresses. You can wear a hi-lo, maxi, or a short dress. Either or looks cute. As with accessories, keep is simple and calm. They tend to wear a simple stranded necklace one or two rings. Lastly, the shoes. I suggest sticking with a sandal with braids. You can go all out with color if you would like. I personally like to stay with a theme and pop color on my nails, makeup and crown. In other words, just stay very simple and try not to go gladiator with the shoe. This will throw off the theme and you would look like a "goddess" instead.

Makeup & Nails: Of course you want color to your look. Just remember to stay with light/pastel colors. Try not to be heavy with your makeup either.

I hope I helped you get an idea on how to recreate the flower girl look. Have fun!
