Quick Tip Tuesday: On-the-go bang wash

There are days when our bangs look really greasy and gross. I get these days a lot but I have found a quick solution that literally only takes five minutes! Yes, you can use dry shampoo but my hair feels nasty and powdery. I just don't like any of those products. I decided to stick my head under the faucet but just my bangs only. I soak the bangs starting from the top and then take a small dab of shampoo on my hangs and then just do the normal and wash. Then if I feel like blowdrying my bangs, I do so but usually I let them air dry. 

Let's begin with what you will need

• Shampoo
• Sink
• Hair Dryer (optional)
• Brush
• Comb
• Hair Ties

Step one

Begin putting your hair up so it doesn't get in the way and become wet.

Step two
Adjust the faucet to a comfortable temperature.

Step three

Stick your bangs under the water to get them wet.

Step four

Squeeze a small amount of shampoo on your fingers and begin to wash your hair. Then rinse it out when finished.

Step five

Take your comb and brush out your bangs to where you feel like they look nice.

Step six

This part is optional, i usually let my bangs air dry but if you blow dry your hair, take the comb and brush the bangs out.

Step seven

Then after a few seconds, I then take my bigger brush and brush my bangs to where they are comfortable and nice.

Step eight

Next, I take my hair out of the ponytail and brush it out and part it.

And you are done. Your bangs look and feel clean within five minutes!

Quick Tip Tuesday: Last Minute Outfit

Hey readers! It has been awhile since I have posted and also have done Quick Tip Tuesday. I went to my sister and asked her, "Hey, what fashion problems do you have?" She responded, "I have those times where I have no idea what to wear and what matches last minute." I decided to help everyone out with this one because I know I am not the only one who has this problem.

There are two solutions

• One, plan your outfit a day before. 
• Two, keep these two things in mind while planning an outfit last minute; The weather & occasion. Is it hot or cold? Is it raining, snowing, or windy? What type of event are you attending? Do you need to be formal, dressy, laid back, etc.

For example:

Weather - Hot
Occasion - Fast food eating

Wear - Shorts, tee or tank, sandals or sneakers

I typically begin my outfit with choosing my bottoms because I do not have many bottoms as I do tops. This saves time & helps me match easier. 

Next, I pick out a complicated pattern with three colors in it; purple, orange, green, & white.

Orange holds hands with yellow & red. I would choose yellow because red holds hands with purple on the color wheel which would be a little too blended as a look. Green holds hands with blue & yellow. I would not choose a purple top because the majority of the shorts are purple. You can choose purple if you are going for a monochromatic look. 

Blue does hold hands with purple but it's a very light blue.

Now onto patterns. Stripes and floral go together luckily but be careful with pairing patterns together because it can be very difficult. If you do not want to go the complicated & daring route, choose a plain colored top that could be white, green, yellow, orange, or blue. 

Overall, it depends on your outfit, colors, and pattern.

Quick Tip Tuesday: Lipstck Miracles

Yay! It's Tuesday!

Us girls have those days where we do not want to dress up and/or put a lot of make up on. But a really nice tip is to just apply lipstick. It helps you look more made up and girly.

I started wearing lipstick during my senior year in high school. I wasn't brave enough to start applying it during my freshmen year. I would start wearing lipstick during your sophomore year. If you're curious on when you should start wearing it and/or how, comment down below!

A great lipstick color to start off with is a very subtle color like the following below:

QTT: Skin Vs. Nails

For all of you blog readers, here is today's tip!

When you paint your nails, you always have that one time where you accidentally hit your skin with the nail polish brush. This results to nail polish on your skin and getting out the nail polish remover and it just becomes messy, annoying, and the polish doesn't come off as well. I have a life saver for you today!

WHAT YOU NEED:

- Vaseline (Petroleum Jelly)
- Cotton Swabs
- Nail Polish

LETS GET STARTED!

STEP ONE:
Grab your cotton swab and dip it into the Vaseline. Make sure you have a great amount on the tip. Begin applying the Vaseline around your nail. Make sure you do not touch your nail or else the nail polish will not apply correctly onto your nail. If you do accidentally touch your nail, simply rub it off with your finger.

STEP TWO: Apply nail polish

STEP THREE:
(whoops, I have hit my skin with nail polish). Take your cotton swab and glide it on your skin and finish up the surrounding nail to remove the Vaseline and/or nail polish on the skin.

I hope you have taken today's tip very helpful. I know nail polish on my skin is very annoying and Vaseline turns out to be a life saver for nail lovers!

Quick Tip Tuesday!

Hello everyone! For the people who are not my viewers on YouTube, here is a tip for today!

So you have bought a new pair of shoes and they are very uncomfortable for the first few days as you might know. Why not break them in within 5 minutes? Here is how you do it!

Lets begin with what you will need:

• Hair Dryer
• Pair of thick socks (or more than one pair)
• New Shoes
  

Now let's get started!

STEP ONE:
Begin putting your socks on. In this photo, I am doubling my socks because I am only doing one shoe for now.

STEP TWO:
Now place your foot into your shoe. Make sure your foot is nice and snug.

STEP THREE:
Set your hair dryer to High & Hot.

STEP FOUR:
Begin blow drying your shoe. Make sure you are moving your foot around and bending it. Do this for about five minutes.

 STEP FIVE:
Remove your shoe and bend it back and forth. But be careful, the shoe may still be hot.

STEP SIX:
Now put your shoes back on and keep them on until they are finished cooling.

Quick Tip Tuesday

Hey guys! For today's tip, I am going to help you stay stylish yet cool for this summer. I suggest purchasing a Bandeau top. If this will be your first time purchasing a bandeau top, I recommend starting off with a simple color. Once you have one, start moving onto cute patterned and textured tops.

Why wear a bandeau top? You know how people wear cami's underneath their tops? You eventually become very hot and sweaty, it's very uncomfortable. With a bandeau top, they are very comfortable and cool. They are basically worn to be seen. Typically, bandeau tops are worn with crop tops. Why? Well with a cam and a crop top combined, you get an unpleasant look. You can see the cam wear your belly is suppose to be showing. Without a cami and a bandeau top in replace, the look is more fashionable. Therefore, if you do not want to show your skin, do not wear a crop top or a sheer top.

Shopping Tips

Hello everyone! For some fashionistas out there, it may be hard to shop on a low budget. I'm giving you my tips on how to get the most out of shopping. Recently, I went shopping with very little spending money but I figured out a very helpful solution on how to shop quick and still end up loving what I bought.
 

TIP ONE: Create a list
If it is for grocery or clothing, creating a list helps tremendously. For now, we are going to stick to shopping for fashion. Start off with the items that are ideally the cheapest and then as time goes on, work your way to the priciest.

TIP TWO: Scope out all stores
If it's Forever 21, Kohls, H&M, etc, you want to make sure you get the cheapest and best quality in what you are searching for. Check out all stores for that one item you are searching for. This helps save a lot of money!

TIP THREE: Ask yourself
To be on the safe side, ask yourself "would I wear this anytime soon?" "what would I wear this item with?" This helps you get the most out of your item. If you don't have a top, shoe, bottom, etc to go with what you are buying, why get it? Why purchase an item you cannot wear? If you are buying an outfit that matches that same day, then it is fine.

ADDITIONAL SHOPPING TIPS

TIP FOUR: Search head to toe
If you are not looking for an item specifically and want to make the most out of your time, start with the beginning of the store and just grab what you like (that is in your price range). Just remember, stores have limited clothes to try on so make sure you know how much that is before grabbing 20 items.

TIP FIVE: Trying on the clothes
When you try on your clothes or shoes, make sure you know you want them or not. If you are having troubling thoughts, do not purchase them. Say you try the item on and you fall in love instantly, that is when you know you actually want it. If you have to question it, it is usually a no. You may have regrets if you end up purchasing the item.

TIP SIX: Inspect
You have found your item, now it's time to inspect. Look for any rips, missing add-ons, & stains. If you find an item with any negatives, switch it out if possible. If there are no longer any same sizes, you may have to find a new item, which is rare.
