QTT: Skin Vs. Nails

For all of you blog readers, here is today's tip!

When you paint your nails, you always have that one time where you accidentally hit your skin with the nail polish brush. This results to nail polish on your skin and getting out the nail polish remover and it just becomes messy, annoying, and the polish doesn't come off as well. I have a life saver for you today!

WHAT YOU NEED:

- Vaseline (Petroleum Jelly)
- Cotton Swabs
- Nail Polish

LETS GET STARTED!

STEP ONE:
Grab your cotton swab and dip it into the Vaseline. Make sure you have a great amount on the tip. Begin applying the Vaseline around your nail. Make sure you do not touch your nail or else the nail polish will not apply correctly onto your nail. If you do accidentally touch your nail, simply rub it off with your finger.

STEP TWO: Apply nail polish

STEP THREE:
(whoops, I have hit my skin with nail polish). Take your cotton swab and glide it on your skin and finish up the surrounding nail to remove the Vaseline and/or nail polish on the skin.

I hope you have taken today's tip very helpful. I know nail polish on my skin is very annoying and Vaseline turns out to be a life saver for nail lovers!

Magazine Monday: Top Summer Swim Tops

Summer is finally here and I am bringing you my favorite summer swim tops! Some bathing suits are very over priced but I am focusing more on the top design more than the brand. There were a lot of tops out there but here is what made it to my top five:

To add, I do love the colors in each of these bathing suits. The first top is very girly and great for girls who do not want to show a lot. The second top is very fashionable and can make a great statement. The third top that is from h&m is very stylish and unique with the fringe. The fourth top is very in for this summer because of the neon colors. The final top is very feminine and a great design to show off your body. Friday Loves!

A little late on Friday Faves but I've been very busy this past week! Anyways, here are my favorites for this week.

I love these sunglasses because they are so girly and makes your outfit look retro!

Currently eating: Spaghetti w/ Bacon

 My mother makes the best spaghetti with bacon.
It's so different and tastes' so much better than beef!

Currently using: EOS

I just tried out this chapstick and it is amazing. It feels very smooth and it cools down my lips quickly. It is on the pricey side but not only does it work great but the product is also very cute!

Currently walking in: White Converse
Converse are a great way to make you look very stylish. They also help your outfit look retro.
Not to mention, these white converse match any outfit. They are also very comfortable!

Currently obsessing: Glade Somethin Sweet Candle
I've recently grabbed the new Glade Somethin Sweet. It smells so delicious and it is a fantastic candle for the summer!

Quick Tip Tuesday!

Hello everyone! For the people who are not my viewers on YouTube, here is a tip for today!

So you have bought a new pair of shoes and they are very uncomfortable for the first few days as you might know. Why not break them in within 5 minutes? Here is how you do it!

Lets begin with what you will need:

• Hair Dryer
• Pair of thick socks (or more than one pair)
• New Shoes
  

Now let's get started!

STEP ONE:
Begin putting your socks on. In this photo, I am doubling my socks because I am only doing one shoe for now.

STEP TWO:
Now place your foot into your shoe. Make sure your foot is nice and snug.

STEP THREE:
Set your hair dryer to High & Hot.

STEP FOUR:
Begin blow drying your shoe. Make sure you are moving your foot around and bending it. Do this for about five minutes.

 STEP FIVE:
Remove your shoe and bend it back and forth. But be careful, the shoe may still be hot.

STEP SIX:
Now put your shoes back on and keep them on until they are finished cooling.

Summer Nail Polishes!

Hello everyone! It is finally summer and I am enjoying it myself. But what would summer be without a perfect color for your nails? Here are some of my favorites for this season! Some polishes are personally my colors and the others are colors I hope to buy soon for this summer! Enjoy <3

Starting off with my nail polishes:

 

NYC. Charming Rose Creme #126

I love this color because it is subtle yet very warming. This color is great to wear out on a picnic or just a little get together.

 

AVON. Vintage Blue.

This color is very calming and great for the beach. It's a pastel which is one of the reasons why it is great for the summer!

REVLON. Minted #85The photo doesn't really show that great of color but it is a green mint. This one is similar to the previous nail polish from Avon. I would wear this color to a graduation or a small party. Very pastel and pretty.

UNKNOWN.

I am not sure of the brand or color but this nail polish is perfect for a late summer outing. Of course it is neon and neon is in for this season. This color would look very nice with the first nail polish I previewed. I would go for ALL neon colors for this summer.

Other nail colors I enjoy:

ESSIE. First Timer.
This color is absolutely beautiful and great for this season because of how bright yet subtle it is. This is another color that is perfect for the beach or a night out with your friends.

ESSIE. In The Cab-ana.
This color is so beautiful and probably one of my favorites by Essie. I hope to own this nail polish very soon! I would wear this color at any event!

Quick Tip Tuesday

Hey guys! For today's tip, I am going to help you stay stylish yet cool for this summer. I suggest purchasing a Bandeau top. If this will be your first time purchasing a bandeau top, I recommend starting off with a simple color. Once you have one, start moving onto cute patterned and textured tops.

Why wear a bandeau top? You know how people wear cami's underneath their tops? You eventually become very hot and sweaty, it's very uncomfortable. With a bandeau top, they are very comfortable and cool. They are basically worn to be seen. Typically, bandeau tops are worn with crop tops. Why? Well with a cam and a crop top combined, you get an unpleasant look. You can see the cam wear your belly is suppose to be showing. Without a cami and a bandeau top in replace, the look is more fashionable. Therefore, if you do not want to show your skin, do not wear a crop top or a sheer top.
